How We Started

About Us

Founded by undergraduate students from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Global Service Projects aims to provide health education, means of treatment, and basic services to those in need. We aim to reduce the disparity of health services between the  underprivileged and the more fortunate. Our most basic goal is to give help to those who need it the most in this world.

Our History

Global Service Projects was formed  in 2015 after carrying out our first successful project, Project Clean Teeth. In this project, we worked with local dentists in Vyara, India to provide treatment to a hundred of the most underserved in Vyara. We also helped teach over 600 local school children about the importance of proper oral care.

In May of 2016, we successful hosted the Run and Walk for  Mental Health Awareness here in Knoxville, TN.  We helped raise money for the Helen Ross McNabb Center, generating a turn out of almost 200 for the 5K event.

Our team hopes to build on the solid foundation we have started and continue to make an impact here at home and across the world.
